Seniors Captain 2020

I would like to introduce myself as the new Seniors Captain, of those that don’t know me at the Club, I am married to Alison, with two children and four grandchildren. Playing off a handicap of 14 and recently wining the nett prize at our Club Championship.

The Seniors section of March Golf Club had a good year in 2018 and we are all looking forward to an interesting year playing against other clubs in 2019, including the seniors CAGU Match against Meridian.

We welcome all new seniors any standard to join us when we meet every Monday, Wednesday and Fridays mornings for a turn up and play at 7.45am.

However, to protect the course we do have to operate with a Trolley and Buggy ban until further notice. That’s good news for some of us as it will take the guessing of which club to use out of the equation … I certainly can’t carry 30 golf balls either!
