PGA Pro

Alex Oldham

March Golf Club is pleased to have had the services of PGA Class A Golf Professional Alex Oldham since August 2004.

Alex has been serving members and visitors to a high standard during this time with his honesty, integrity and expertise.
In that time he has built up an enviable reputation as a helpful, knowledgeable and caring retailer who puts you first.

Alex will supply for you the most appropriate golf equipment at the budget you set. His no nonsense approach will give you a great outcome that should benefit your play and enjoyment of the game. His contacts, relationships and knowledge of the trade and accumulation of used equipment sees him satisfy many golfers, both new and experienced, who think their only option is a four figure outlay for a set of “sticks”. For those who do want the very latest and highest performing product, Alex is an authorised Ping and Cobra stockist and custom fitter. Everything is available for trial on the club’s magnificent practice ground or even on the course in a “no” pressure sales environment. You can even trade in old gear and stage your payments.

Ladies are catered for in every department as are juniors. Clubs, clothing, gloves and shoes not to mention accessories!! All in.

Lynx has re emerged on the market after an absence and Alex is a firm favourite of the UK based brand. At the entrance end of the market is the predator range which realises a set of custom fitted graphite 5 – sw irons for men and ladies for under £300. Also impressive is Black Cat, Boom Boom and Parallax. Alex believes in the product so much he plays the wedges and irons and often has the Black Cat driver in the bag on special occasions. You really could have a pleasant surprise playing Lynx.

Cobra, Ping, Lynx, Wilson, Cleveland, Titleist, Srixon, Motocaddy, Footjoy, Duca, Big Max, Greg Norman, Island Green and much more all feature in Alex`s impressive shop. Generally the shop is open every day, Alex loves coming to work and attends every day!

Tuition is available by prior appointment on our fantastic 300 yard practice ground that boasts a bunker, net, putting and chipping green as well as a short academy course for the budding enthusiast and youngster. Alex has one simple goal and that is to simply “Play your best in the shortest period of time”. Whether its long or short game, or course management, Alex will better your play.

He, along with some volunteers, runs a ladies and juniors academy. If you`d like to join, simply get in touch. All his details are shown here but please note he can be contacted through the clubs website or feel free to use “whats app” and befriend him on facebook.
