Ladies Golf Academy Winter LAUNCH

#Womeninsport. Beginner, budding or improving – golf sessions for women.

Come and join us at March Golf Club this coming Saturday 26th October at 1.15 pm. Completely free of charge to all attendees, come and make new friends, hit better golf shots and work towards your goal, whatever that may be. Here at March Golf Club, my volunteer assistant Baz and myself are committed to welcoming you to our club and providing a warm friendly environment for you to improve or learn the game. For current Academy members, please bring a friend. All equipment will be provided free of charge, we just need you, your enthusiasm and a willingness to learn our great game.

Some of our current ladies have progressed so quickly through the Academy that they are now competing. This is not a necessity however, and we encourage any amount of play or ability. Going hand in hand with golf is the social side and equally as important.

So I ask you not to be nervous or shy and come and join us Saturday. If you need any advice, help or have any questions please do not hesitate to get in touch, you`ll be assured of a friendly welcome.

But, don’t take my word for it…

“I started coming to the Ladies Academy sessions at March Golf Club as a beginner last winter. I quickly started to see progression in my abilities and soon developed a love of the game.  Alex is so supportive and is such an approachable teacher.  He makes the sessions fun and I always look forward to the next one.  Alex really puts me at ease when he is teaching and I like how he breaks things down, making them easier to learn and put into practice.  The Academy is a very friendly group and I have made lots of new friends there.

“By the middle of the summer I felt ready to join the club as a full member, still as very much a beginner.  Since then, I have won several competitions, including a team match at another club, I have been to some wonderful social events at the clubhouse, and have met some truly lovely people.

“I would encourage anyone to give golf a try.  It has become a huge part of my life that I am thoroughly enjoying, and it all started at the Ladies Academy.”
