In an incredibly exciting match, March won the match against Girton G C in the Daily Mail Foursomes. With five holes to play, the March pairing of Sarah Oldham and Penny Gilbert were three holes down but went on to win the next five and to win the match. The match was played in a superb atmosphere of friendly competition.
