Academy Membership
NEW MEMBERSHIP CATEGORY PROMOTION
A stepping stone to Full or 5 Day membership for new and occasional golfers who have had lessons with the Pro or have been playing occasional golf elsewhere. Available for 6 months (April – September 2012) at a cost of £50. However if someone wants to convert to Full or 5 Day membership during the course of the 6 month period this will be encouraged by giving them the full £50 off their subscription. Benefits:
- Unlimited use of practice ground
- Use of 3 hole pitch and put track at the bottom of the practice field
- Each Academy Member to receive introduction from the Club Pro to the Club, as per new members, with opportunity for an evaluation session. A close mentoring/monitoring relationship will then follow in the months to come.
- Academy Members will have to pre book their golf through the Club Pro or in his absence the Secretary, at a rate of £10 for 9 holes or £15 for 18 holes. They can also play in addition with a Member at the reduced rate.
- Use of the clubhouse for drinks etc but not hire at ‘no charge’
Restrictions:
- No weekend golf before 4.00pm
- No voting rights
- No handicap
- No competitions
- New Academy Membership is not available to previous members.
The proposal will be subject to review in September 2012.
