Welcome to March Golf Club
March Golf Club was founded in 1923 and located at Calvary Barn Farm. In 1927 the club moved to Hatchwood Farm and then to our current site in Frogs Abbey. So, 2012 is a special year in our history, celebrating the 50th anniversary of being on the same site. To commemorate the occasion, we are planning several events, with particular emphasis on the Diamond Jubilee Anniversary bank holiday weekend of the 1st to 4th of June, when we will holding our anniversary competition, culminating in a dinner dance. So may I encourage you to make a special note in your diaries.

Joint Captains' Drive-In 2012
Having been postponed from the traditional Boxing Day date, the 2012 Joint Captains' Drive-In took place on Sunday the 12th February, following heavy snow and temperatures of -14C.
Naturally, the Drive-In competition was cancelled and, following drives by the Captain and Lady Captain, forty five members and guests quickly retreated to the Clubhouse for refreshments and an excellent three course meal. The winners of the Men's Drive-In Sweep was Mr Chris Bateman and the Lady's Sweep was won by Mr Peter Jones. Click on "Read More" for further photographs.
Seniors Men's Open 2012
The Men's Senior section are pleased to announce details of their forthcoming Open competition to be held on Friday the 17th of August.
The competition is open to Men aged 55 and over on the day of the event and is an eighteen hole Pairs Better Ball Stableford competition off three quarters handicap. All players must have an active handicap and prizes will be presented to both Home and Away players.

Presentation of 2012 Captain
The following photographs were taken at the Club's AGM held on Thursday the 8th December 2011 and show the the 2011 Captain, Phil Softley, handing over the Captain's Blazer to the 2012 Captain, Stephen Layton. The winners of the Mixed Foursomes Trophy, Stephen and Teresa Layton are also shown being presented with the trophy.
