Results Update Early April

Ladies Medal on 7th April was won by Jean Alterton with a nett 77 going out in 48 and coming back in 46 with 2 pars beating Jo Rowlett by 6 shots in second place and Penny Gilbert in 3rd place.
The ladies played the Macmillan Stableford competition on Tuesday 9th April.  10 Ladies took part and the winner was Valerie Cook with 34 points, in second place was Ros Humphrey with 29 points beating Jean Alterton on count back also with 29 points.
The Men played the Morton Cup on Saturday 13th April.  The winner being Nick Carter with nett 68 who went out in 44 coming back in 39 with 10 pars beating Brian Newstead in a card play off also with 68 points.  Gary Wiggins came in 3rd with a nett 69.
The ladies played a 9 hole stable for on Sunday 14th April with the winner being Carole Wood with 19 points beating Emma Norman (lady vice Captain) who beat Jean Alterton also with 17 points on count back.
